Getting Bigger.. and Bigger...

Audrey just grows and changes everyday. It's so fun to watch. Lately she is into showing off her belly as you can see in the picture. She enjoys flashing her stomach to perfect strangers when we are out shopping as well.

I've attached a couple of pictures of Audrey with her aunts Lori and Jenny. She loves to go visit Lori and John at their house. She especially loves tearing their house apart. This past Tuesday Lori and John babysat Audrey at their house and when we got her home later that night she was jumping all over the house and acting totally crazy. It turns out that Aunt Lori gave her a bunch of sugar while she was watching her... I will have my revenge once they start having kids....

So out of curiosity, because I'm wondering if any of you actually read this blog or if you just look at the pictures - I'm throwing in a little info that you might find interesting... Audrey is going to be a big sister! Yep, I'm pregnant. Due at the end of May. We are excited.

That's all from us for now. We hope that everyone is doing well!

Audrey 18 Months

I haven't posted in a while because August was a busy month. We traveled a lot which was really fun and Audrey is so easy to travel with. In her 18 months of life, I think we counted something like 11 trips that we have been on so far.

Last month we went to Colorado and Utah. First Audrey and I went to Colorado (Rob stayed behind in Florida) to visit my family. Audrey really enjoyed spending time with all her cousins (who would fight over her) and seeing Nana and Papa. Then we went to Utah were we met up with Daddy and visited Grams, Mindy, Blake, Cade & Carter (I attached a picture of Audrey with her cousins Cade & Carter). Audrey really soaked up all the attention she got!

Somehow during the time we were away from Rob, Audrey must have really missed him because when we saw him in Utah she was all of the sudden a major Daddy's girl. It didn't change when we got back to Florida either. If Rob is around, Audrey is attached to him. It's very cute.

She's also having fun walking around in Daddy's shoes and she also likes to put on his hat and his tie (as you can see in the picture - she did that herself, I had nothing to do with it).

We hope everyone is doing well!! Love to all!

The Croup

Well, Audrey has been sick lately. First she had some sort of flu, then a couple of weeks later she got the Croup and we had to go to the emergency room and everything! Poor little Audrey... it was heartbreaking to watch her all hooked up to machines and getting x-rays. She was so good though - she cried, but not a ton and once they did a breathing treatment to help her throat she felt much better and was even smiling. It has been a hard couple of weeks with her being sick and Rob's appendectomy. Fun times.

You can see a picture of her on the couch when she was sick, propped up with her puppets around to keep her company (she loves her puppets). I've also attached a picture of her sitting in the refrigerator - she loves to sit in there anytime I'm trying to get stuff out to make dinner or whatever. She's nearly 17 months old! Time really does fly....

Hope that everyone is doing well! We miss and love you all!

More Audrey....

Audrey is getting bigger and bigger and bigger.. the kid is huge. She is so much fun and has just learned that she loves hats! She is constantly finding mine and Rob's hats and putting them on her head, as you can see in the pictures.

She also learned a few new words this week... "pudding" (she loves tapioca), "treat", "car", and last week she learned the word "horse". She now thinks every animal is a horse and when I ask her to say Aunt Lori's name, she says "horse". This is at least a little closer then "tourette's" which is what she was previously calling her.

Love to all!!

First Blog

Well, I thought I would start a blog about Audrey since our family is so far away. So they can watch her grow and see the new tricks she is doing. I'm a little behind in starting this, but it's better late than never!

Today we had her 15 month appointment and she is off the charts for height and head size and she's at about 90th percentile for weight. The doctor said she's basically the size of a 22 month old. Everyone thinks she is older than she is so that makes sense.

Audrey is loving hats and loves to play with our shoes! She can say a bunch of words and just seems to get smarter and smarter every day. It's really exciting to watch her grow.
You can watch a video of her here!
